Animal Rescue We are a non profit organization that specializes in large breed rescue, however we will take any animal into our program if we can. All the profits from our grooming salon go directly back into the rescue portion of our business. WE NEED YOU! Assistance Animal Program  Some of the dogs that come into our program are potentially ideal to be trained as assistance dogs for the mobility impaired. These dogs are trained in accordance with Assistance Dogs International and SARA standards, although we are not affiliated with these organizations. These dogs are trained to be the legs, arms, ears, sight, and hands for their human counter parts. Our SDP program started back in 1998 and has placed 4 dogs with mobility impaired people. Our primary Service Dog Trainer now has placed 20 dogs with individuals since 1992. If in need of such an animal please submit the form below and you will be contacted. The standards for Assistance animals are extremely high and most do not make the cut. When an animal is cut from the SDP Assistance Animal Program they are adopted out to be a family pet.
